Kinnula's old rectory is located in a small village, close to Salamajärvi National Park, between a child-friendly beach and a local museum. The rectory includes the historic, renovated main building (approx. 200 sqm) with modern comforts, an atmospheric wood-heated sauna, two ancient log sheds for sleeping in summertime, and a terrace with docks built on the the bend of a river. From the pier, you can take a dip in the river or go rowing on two nearby lakes. There is also a campfire site with a shed on the river bank. The shops and other services in the center of Kinnula are within short walk distance, through wonderful lake scenery, in the middle of peaceful country village.

WEDDING IN OLD RECTORY
Are you looking for a venue for a bachelor party or a wedding with accomodation? The old rectory is perfect for partying! We recommend maximum of 60 wedding guests in here, 18 of which can be accommodated during the summer, 12 in wintertime. You can use the entire main building, the yard, an outbuilding, two log sheds, sauna, river terrace with a dock and a campfire site by the river. If desired, the outbuilding can be decorated as a covered party space.

PEACE, SILENCE AND FRESH NATURE
RETREAT LOCATION IN FINLAND
It's good to calm down and breathe here. We are especially proud of the indoor air quality, which is fresh due to the old logs. If neede, we will empty the rectory hall for you. In addition, the attic has an open, unified space that is suitable for yoga and retreats in the summer. Paikka pappilassa can accommodate 12-18 people, depending on the season.

CHAMBERS AND A UNIQUE SAUNA
The hall, the bishop's chamber and the library room are located next to each other and work well for festive use. There is also space in the kitchen for a large group.

Here you can have tasty dreams in the shelter of more than a hundred-year-old logs. The maid's room, the old office, the log sheds and other accommodation rooms are already waiting for you.

Our sauna is unique. It was built in 1938 and served its' first 70 years as a drying barn. Nowadays there is an ancient, peaceful sauna room and a wood heated sauna for five - such a perfect place to relax!
